Left fielder Ryan Freel cracked a homer and scored 3 times at the ballpark
where the Chicago Colts beat the Chainsaw Proctologists in 10 innings 9 to
8.
Both teams were tied at 8 runs apiece after nine innings. Finally, Chicago
pulled the game out in the 10th inning. Prince Fielder doubled. After an
out was recorded, Brian McCann stepped in and he banged out a single scoring
the run. A wild and woolly affair, this game saw the lead change 8 times.
Huston Street(4-3) went 1 and 2/3 innings allowing 1 run for the win. Street
got help from Elmer Dessens who was credited with his 4th save. Kyle
Farnsworth(2-5) was the loser in relief. He pitched 1 inning and surrendered
